Wall Decor prints are a fascinating way to decorate your home with pictures of things you love. I do not know a thing about art, but I do not enough about photography that I would be able to make my house so much more beautiful with prints from Wall Decor. I think it’s a fabulous feature from Amazon, and I would love to win it!
My husband happens to be a photo restoration specialist. That is what he does for a living. He restores photos and does video transfer orders. He turns old photos into new photos, and he takes old VHS tapes, and he turns them into new DVDs. I’ve seen his work, and it is simply amazing! What he can do is frankly astonishing. I have seen retired veterans cry when they see their old photos or videos, and you can actually see them reliving the moment. He says he has gone around the world and back 100 times, without ever leaving his office. His work literally takes my breath away. Because of his job, I know how important photos can be. I do not think this generation of kids and the ones to follow appreciate prints like my generation or my parent’s. They have Snapchat and Tumblr and a million other distracting tools that let them capture the moment, but are they even living in the moment? I do not feel the need to document what I eat with a picture or take pictures of every single thing while I am on vacation. When I am on holiday, I am on vacation. Sure, I’ll take a few shots of something truly beautiful that I see, but I do not take a picture of my feet in the sand. Why? Because I enjoy digging my toes in the sand. I want to FEEL my feet in the sand, not take a picture of it to post for others to see. Some moments are private, and I don’t want to share them all. I feel like this generation of kids are so caught up in trying to take a pic of everything that they are missing out on so many things, like enjoying every minute of life! So long story short (too late), I would take pictures of mostly landscapes and other nature pics to turn into prints that would adorn my house.
Thanks for your indepth reply. I loved hearing about your feelings and the work of your husband. The Chief Blonde
I love the option of making cards, and the ease of doing it from my home.
