I love my formal dining room. The furniture is very castle-like and grand. It’s probably a bit big for the room, in fact it would probably fit much better in a mansion dining hall rather than our small dining area but hey…it’s my chance to be queen, that’s why I bought it.
Now a grand dining table calls for grand eating flatware so when Argent Orfèvres, the stunning, high-end brand of tabletop goods, approached me to review their Paris Hammered Copper by Argent Orfèvres, I just couldn’t say no.
It was easy to choose this set, when I visited the Argent Orfèvres site. As you can see, it really is just the set for my grand table. The hammered copper sets the stage for my lovely table and kingly chairs.
What makes the Paris Hammered flatware so special? Well for one, it’s 18/0 Titanium-plated stainless steel and a lustrous copper color. This dinnerware is so durable that it has a 25 year warranty and if you’ve ever had flatware that breaks or stains or tarnishes, you know how important that is.
Another aspect I love is that the 20-piece set is dishwasher safe. After the queen has a grand dinner, she does NOT have time to be handwashing flatware!

Adelena 45 Piece Set. I’m actually in need of new flatware — a lot of what I have right now is starting to rust. But, it doesn’t owe us anything, we’ve had it for years! This flatware set is gorgeous and modern!
I like the Skandia flatware. The texture on the handles is unique and unusual. Both my hands are arthritic and the texture makes them easier to handle.
I love the SKANDIA Opera 20 Piece Set. Never found black silverware before and I like that it’s different.

I like the Skandia Adelena 45 Piece Set. It reminds me of the gothic feel of Game of Thrones.
