I love my formal dining room. The furniture is very castle-like and grand. It’s probably a bit big for the room, in fact it would probably fit much better in a mansion dining hall rather than our small dining area but hey…it’s my chance to be queen, that’s why I bought it.
Now a grand dining table calls for grand eating flatware so when Argent Orfèvres, the stunning, high-end brand of tabletop goods, approached me to review their Paris Hammered Copper by Argent Orfèvres, I just couldn’t say no.
It was easy to choose this set, when I visited the Argent Orfèvres site. As you can see, it really is just the set for my grand table. The hammered copper sets the stage for my lovely table and kingly chairs.
What makes the Paris Hammered flatware so special? Well for one, it’s 18/0 Titanium-plated stainless steel and a lustrous copper color. This dinnerware is so durable that it has a 25 year warranty and if you’ve ever had flatware that breaks or stains or tarnishes, you know how important that is.
Another aspect I love is that the 20-piece set is dishwasher safe. After the queen has a grand dinner, she does NOT have time to be handwashing flatware!

I love the Skandia Pebble 45 Piece Set. I’ve never seen anything like that!
Ilike Scandia Annika because it fits with my 1950’s house-not grand , but well-loved for over 50 yrs. y flatware is currently a ghastly mix of whatever was on sale over that time. It would bring an upmarket, orderly sense to my table.

There are so many pretty patterns but I think my favorite one is the Prism 45 Piece Set because it’s “me”, not too fancy but a little unique 🙂
I am so excited about this giveaway! I was in Bed Bath & Beyond drooling over some flat wear this week. I was telling my Mother that one day I was actually going to buy a set, and have all matching flat wear like a “grown up”. lol My favorite pattern is the Signature San Remo in Black. I like it because I have never seen any other set like it, and it’s a plus that it is dishwasher safe.
