November 30, 2015 By Shelley Zurek 395 Comments

Color Me Stress-Free / Color Me Calm / Color be Happy

by Lacy Mucklow and Angela Porter Color Me Stress-Free color me Calm Color me Happy_1

I received these ZEN Adult Coloring Books from Quarto Publishing: Color Me Stress Free ($17.99 , $11.69 Amazon), Color Me Calm ($17.99, $10.19 Amazon), Portable Color Me Calm ($15.99, $9.99 Amazon), Portable Color Me Happy ($15.99, $9.99 Amazon). All Color Me books available HERE at Quarto Publishing and at Amazon.

Adult Coloring Books? Sounds Dirty, WHAT ARE THOSE?

Well ..adult coloring books just mean coloring books that adults enjoy coloring.

We move through our days in a blur of emails, text messages, and social networking. This non-stop stimulation has left us stressed-out and distanced from the joys of the present moment. Art therapist Lacy Mucklow and artist Angela Porter offer a simple and satisfying solution to this disconnect from reality…the 12 book “Color Me” Zen Adult Coloring Book series.

Color Me Stress Free MucklawColor Me Calm MucklawColor Me Stress-Free / Color Me Calm by Lacy Mucklow and Angela Porter – These books examine the benefits of putting pencil (or crayon, marker, and ink) to paper and offers adults an opportunity to channel their anxiety into satisfying, creative accomplishment. Both books while focusing on different emotions, have a central focus of helping you achieve a positive outlook. Color Me Stress Free has the feel of the late ’60s Doctor Pepper’s Lonely Heart Club album. I found both books had big juicy lines for coloring. Color Me Calm draws from designs from Nature (shells, cabins, sunsets, even the backs of the pages had lovely designs. Color Me Calm has less of an era feel than Color Me Stress Free.  I see hours of fun with both of these titles.

Portable Color Me Calm Portable Color Me HappyMost of the Color Me series is available in portable editions as well with portable coloring kits coming soon.

I would like to get the Color Me Fearless coloring book. I think it sounds like it would have some unusual pictures to color. The more stranger the picture is , the more fun it is to color it.
All of the books are very nice. I love to color.
    Thanks for the great giveaway.
