Check out what’s new from Acacia
Just in time for Summer bathing suit season, award-winning fitness DVD distributor Acacia offers workouts from diverse disciplines to help exercisers fulfill any fitness goal – no matter how how hot you want to be. Six pack abs here I come!
I received these titles to review encompassing some of the season’s finest workouts:
Shiva Rea: Yoga in Greece Filmed against the spectacular backdrop of the Greek Island of Santorini, Shiva Rea: Yoga in Greece features seven 20-minute practices of energizing solar and grounding lunar sequences, plus the customizable Yoga Matrix, which offers exercisers endless options to create longer workouts.
The Chief Blonde Remarks:I could hardly focus on this video due to the gorgeous setting. I do love Yoga, so this video was probably my favorite of the three reviewed today. Shiva is truly a master at what she does, certainly deserving her world-renowned status. You get 3 hours of different meditation + yoga on this one DVD. $9.99
Quick Fit Want to get fit and strong, but don’t have time to exercise? Can you find five minutes? Fitness expert and Today show regular Andrea Metcalf leads 30 fast, effective five minute workouts that tone, condition, burn calories, melt fat, boost metabolism, and build lean muscle. Choose from a mix of cardio, strength, and Pilates. Do what you want for as long as you need; mix-and-match to target trouble spots. $19.99
The Chief Blonde Remarks: I am loving this video because I can so as little or as much as I want. I like that Pilates is included.
Not Extreme, Not Insane, Just R.I.P.P.E.D: Fitness power couple TERRY and TINA SHORTER created the incredibly effective, high-intensity workout system R.I.P.P.E.D (Resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance and Diet and nutrition). Franchised to more than 8,500 fitness professionals across the country and approved by the American Council on Exercise, this safe, effective, interval-training system delivers amazing results with a scientifically proven, plateau-proof fitness formula to help shape and tone everybody. In Total Body Challenge’s five workout segments, plus a warm-up and cool down, you’ll burn more than 700 calories in just 48 minutes. Terry and Tina also sing and compose all the original music. $16.99
The Chief Blonde Remarks: While this workout video is a little beyond me at this point, I hope to work up to it. I’d love to be able to get this cardio going and to burn 700 calories in 48 minutes. Take a look at this quick video clip, to see how much fun it looks.

Keeping Fit Strength, Cardio, Pilates is the DVD I would choose because it has a little bit of everything
acacialifestyle.com/pilates-for-beginners/p/51922/because im new at this and i heard pilates really work have had back surgery so this would be easier for me
I like pilates for beginners
I would get Elaine Petrone: Stop the Back Pain, I hurt my back at the end of November and I still haven’t fully recovered. I have one back video right now that I’ve been doing for a few months, but would like a little variety.
I like the Ballet Body Core Workout. It’s totally different from what I usually do, and it looks like a challenge.
Pilates for beginners.
Yoga to the Rescue-feel good from head to toe.
I’d like the Yoga for Beginners with Desi Bartlett because I have been wanting to start yoga but don’t know where to start!
Dance and ????Be Fit , Hip Hop. Sounds like fun.
I would love to have the Kettlebell workout! They offer this class at my gym, but I want to try it at home first before I make a fool out of myself in public! LOL
I would choose the Shiva Rea: Flow Yoga for Beginners . I have been wanting to try this type of yoga but I would want it directed for beginners.
I would love the Bollywood Burn with Hemalayaa DVD from Acacia because I love Bollywood dancing, it’s so much fun.
I get my exercise chasing goats. Maybe I should make a video.
THAT would be entertaining. But then it would truly be a comedy video not an exercise video….
DO IT ANYWAY!
I would pick the Bollywood Burn with Hemalayaa DVD from Acacia because I love Bollywood dance, it’s so much fun.
I would love to try the Bollywood Dance Workout, I have always loved dance motivated workouts!
I could use a few new yoga DVDs. The one at Canyon Ranch for strength and energy looks great!
I would buy the Ballet Body 3 dvd set for core, upper body and lower body.
I would choose “Exhale: Core Fusion Pilates Plus”. Strengthening the core is very good for balance and for my bone density! Plus, I’ve always had weight gain going to me belly! I like that the workouts are in 10-minute increments too!
The Kung Fu Kickboxing Workout. After seven kids my body no longer looks tone and fit. I don’t have weight I need to lose but want to look better.
I would do the 5 minute one, because I never have time to exercise!
