Friday Night Becomes Friday Fright with Blackberry Wine Smoothie Recipe Disaster!
This creamy Blackberry wine smoothie recipe doesn’t look like a disaster but it sure created some havoc last Friday night in our household!!!
It all started with me wanting to make this Pinterest recipe that I had pinned from Rhea Drummond, The Pioneer Woman (a famous blogger and blog), for her Blueberry Yogurt Smoothie.
I decided to make a blackberry yogurt smoothie (as that’s what I had on hand) instead of blueberry. Because it was Friday night, I decided that adding some wine to recipe couldn’t hurt. While the recipe turned out fantastic (see the recipe below before the giveaway), my shirt didn’t fair so well! I didn’t tighten the bottom of the blender and THIS was the result! Wine all over my favorite ORVIS shirt!
Clorox 2 Stain Remover & Color Booster to the rescue
Even though I wanted to finish my blackberry wine smoothie recipe, I sprang into action after I spilled the wine and berry mixture on my top. I used Clorox 2 Stain Remover & Color Booster to pre-treat the wine/blackberry tough stains, following these simple directions:
- For best results, apply this product directly to stains.
- Rub in gently and let set for 5–10 minutes. Do not allow to dry on fabric.
- To remove stains and boost colors: Wash as usual with Clorox 2 ® product and my favorite detergent.
Even though I pretreated the stain immediately, removing tough stains and brightening colors is easier with Clorox 2. I was thrilled to learn that I can use it to pre-treat set-in stains I thought would be there forever – even ones that have been through the dryer! Look how great my top looks now!
Clorox 2 ® Stain Remover & Color Booster gives me confidence
I can forge ahead with all my Pinterest baking and DIYing as I have confidence that Clorox 2 can keep my clothes stain-free and looking brighter for longer. Stains won’t be ruining my creative ideas! I can see that the possibilities are endless. I sure won’t stop making messes (because that’s what I do) but now I can get the stains out later, from cooking messes to gardening stains.
When I pair Clorox 2 Stain Remover & Color Booster with my favorite detergent, I can remove four times more stains than using detergent alone. I can also pre-treat with it like I did to remove more stains.
Here’s that recipe I promised and be sure to entry the givaway below for a Clorox Prize Pack valued at $200+

- 1 raspberry or blackberry light yogurt (6oz)
- 40 frozen black berries, raspberries or mixture of both
