Like many brownie aficionados, Sheila is particularly fond of the crispy edges. In fact, on many an afternoon she would walk through the bakery gathering the brittle batter off the sides of the sheet pans as the brownies cooled in their racks. It had that same rich chocolate taste, but with an amazing crunch. That started her wondering: How could she create a whole pan of crunchy edges? Well, lucky for us, she figured it out! Now you too can satisfy your sweet tooth in a snap with Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle!
Chief Blonde Remarks: It’s almost insane how much of Brownie Brittle you can eat for 120 Calories. We even got out a scale to measure the serving size. You can have 6 good sized pieces of Brownie Brittle/serving! Crazy right? Hands down, this is our favorite new snack. I have already bought more bags of Brownie Brittle beyond my review samples. I now have my son, his girlfriend, my mother, my father, my daughter, me, and my husband HOOKED on this outrageously great dessert snack. I used it to make little ice cream sandwiches, as an edible decoration on sundaes, and also, just simply placed out large bowls for guests to nosh on. I prefer the Chocolate Chip flavor and I can get it in large one pound bags from Costco! My parents like traditional walnut because they like how Brownie Brittle tastes with ice cream. CRAZY GOOD! Highly recommend.

Chief Blonde Remarks: I had never tried Terrapin Ridge Farms Products before I received them to review. I was able to sample each of the products featured in the group shot above. Sometimes, when you try a line of foods, some are good, some not so good…NOT true with Terrapin Ridge Farms! Each product is carefully thought out and executed. The Tart cherry, apple and rosemary glaze was my favorite. I used it to make this wonderful Steelhead fish recipe.

Actually it was a very simple recipe. Just add the glaze on top of the fish. Broil 5 minutes. Lower to 325 degrees F for 20 minutes and done. But it tasted like I had been slaving for hours.
Other Terrapin Ridge Farms products that I particularly enjoyed were the Sea Salt Pita Chips and the Sweet Heat Salsa. Both were quite fantastic on their own (the Pitas were gone in the first sitting), but together they made a perfect pairing. The sweet and salt combo was nirvana! I took the Dulce de Leche (Caramelized milk) sauce to my parents and we ate it warm over ice cream..Oh WOW! #AteWithASpoon I can’t even begin to detail how great this stuff is…just get some for Christmas.

I was so excited to give my Brother and Sister-in-law this basket, as it had all the products that I reviewed in it and then some new ones. He’s a big gourmet so I know he’ll love it. I had a little issue when ordering online so I called the customer service line, and they were so sweet and helpful. Mary, the CEO and owner of Terrapin Ridge Farms actually got on the line and straightened out my question. BOY! Was I impressed!
