Mini LoCal Yogurt Parfait Recipe

Try this Mini LoCal Yogurt Parfait Recipe

LoCal Yogurt Parfait Recipe

Yogurt Parfait Recipe–don’t miss this one for your family!  You can create it using Activia Selects. I use these products in my household not just as a yogurt but also a dessert alternative.  I can’t stand overly sweet desserts, so the Activia Selects Parfait Yogurt Style which has this great crunchy granola that you can mix right in,  provides me and my family with a wonderful satisfying nutrious dessert and it’s cost effective too. You can basically make a whole dessert for a family of 4 from ONE Activia Selects Parfait and a few basic ingredients from your pantry! Yummy!

 Mini LoCal Yogurt Parfait Recipe

INGREDIENTS

1 Activia Selects Parfait in your choice of Flavor (I used Vanilla), This variety has GRANOLA right in the lid for you to use in this recipe.

1 Tablespoon Butter, melted

1 tablespoon Flour

2 teaspoons Brown Sugar

1 teaspoon Vanilla

4 M&Ms or 4 Raspberries for topping

DIRECTIONS

Melt butter and stir in granola (from yogurt), flour, brown sugar and vanilla.  Spread the mixtureflat on a cookie sheet or glass 8×8 cake pan.  Cook at 350 Degrees for 10 minutes or until crunchy golden brown.   Remove from oven.  Let granola mixture cool 15 min.  In 4 small shot glasses or aperitifs glasses, put an 1/8 of the Activia Select Parfait yogurt in each glass.  Top with 1/8 of the granola mixture on top of the yogurt.  Divide the remaining yogurt among the glasses as the top layer. Sprinkle on the remaining granola mixture dividing evenly between glasses.  Top each with one M&M or one Raspberry.  You can freeze for one hour (Chief Blonde recommended) or eat immediately to enjoy this yogurt parfait recipe. (4 Servings, Approximately 110 cal each!)

Activia® Selects Benefits

Activia® Selects are really delicious in this recipe or right out of the container.  An additional benefit is that  it has a probiotic culture Bifidus Regularis® (Bifidobacterium lactis DN 173 010) that naturally helps your digestive system to regulate when consumed over a two week period, daily (Make sure to combine it as part of a healthy lifestyle and balanced diet.)

This sounds good; I eat yogurt and granola all the time bu the idea of the add-ins to the granola and freezing the whole concoction will be new. Can’t wait to try it!

I love this. I am trying to cut back, and I love overly sweet desserts, thus my issue. I can have a little sweet with the granola side and brown sugar mix. But yogurt is beneficial. I guess it’s starts with will power. It doesn’t have to be the highest fat content like ice cream, yogurt tastes good too.

Yogurt is great with all the ways you can change it up and the health benefits. My daughter eats it daily for protein. I have some occasionally for the good bacterias. Recipes like these are great….easy to follow and allows you to bring new life to your breakfast/snack/anytime.
