Replenish research study now open for application
Today’s discussion of the Replenish research study is brought to you by Replenish.
Ice cubes, fans, cranking the AC, sticking your face in the freezer… nothing seems to help when you are eager to cool down from your hot flashes. They come out of nowhere and occur multiple times a day, leaving you irritable and feeling frustrated. Sometimes, they even interrupt your night’s sleep!
If you wish there were a way to get your hot flashes under control, the Replenish Study might be right for you. This medical research study is evaluating an investigational medication to see if it may reduce the frequency of hot flashes and sweating associated with menopause.
To qualify, you must be:
- Female between the ages of 40 and 65
- Have not had a hysterectomy
- Suffer from several hot flashes a day
Study Participants:
- Receive study medication at no cost
- Receive study-related medical exams (similar to an annual gynecologist visit) at no charge
- Are not required to have insurance
- May be reimbursed for time, travel and other expenses
To learn more about the Replenish Study and see if you qualify, visit www.replenishstudy.com or call 1-800-918-1468.

I called this scam of an offer and gave my age, weight, height an answered the questions about cervical cancer an hysterectomy and was told I wasn’t eligible, i asked why when I said i qualified for age that’s when she said I wasn’t a candidate. I can say without shame I’m 5’6″ and 222 if you have to be a certain weight they NEED TO SAY we only want skinny people to apply and PUT that in BOLD PRINT.

How would we find out what the ingredients are in Replenish?
Stefanie says
The research study is evaluating an investigational study medication which is estradiol in combination with progesterone and it is being evaluated in women experiencing hot flashes due to menopause. The estradiol and progesterone used in this study are similar to the natural estrogen and progesterone produced by your ovaries prior to menopause.
valmg @ Mom Knows It All says

How do you know if your ‘hot flashes’ are menopause or just a fluke? I am 42 and the last few months I have definitely had moments of ‘oh my GOD I am hot!’ but maybe it is a fluke? Is there a test they can do to tell you if you are even starting menopause before you start the study?
Shelley Zurek says
Hi Diane, You should definitely go see your doctor. Might be PeriMenopause? The CHief Blonde
Brett says

Sweet, can Canadians apply as well?
Stefanie says
Unfortunately at this time the REPLENISH Study is only recruiting patients at select research study sites in the U.S. Please check http://www.clinicaltrial.gov to find out if new sites become available in the coming months. [FYI- the company I work for is helping the pharmaceutical company get the word out about the trial.]
Scott says
Would it be wrong to sign my wife up for it without telling her? Think she’d get mad?!?! 😉
Shelley Zurek says
Menopausal Women do tend to get mad easier Scott! The Chief Blonde
Paula schuck says
Is this open to Canadians at all? I appreciate this right now as I am in that 40s group. I meet all criteria but one. Hysterectomy done a few years ago.

Clinicaltrials.gov currently has a listing of the cities where there are doctors who are participating in the research study. You can also visit http://www.replenishstudy.com to see if you qualify and find a doctor nearby. Just so you know, the company I work for developed the website and is helping the pharmaceutical sponsor get the word out about the study.
Nicole B says
will study participants have to take any medication, fill out forms or do other things at home that involves a lot of time?
Stefanie says
People volunteer to participate in research studies for many reasons. During the study, participants are asked to take an investigational medication under the supervision of a physician to determine whether it is safe and effective. Study participants do receive study-related medical exams and laboratory services along with the investigational medication, at no cost. Please go to http://www.replenishstudy.com, where you can get more information about the Replenish Study and complete an on-line questionnaire to determine if you pre-qualify.
Lori Pace says
How do we know if they are in an area near us?
