Disclosure: “Charleston Fashion with Bigelow Tea” was inspired by an all expense paid trip via a contest that I won from Bigelow Tea for writing “Around Grandma’s Table“. I was uncompensated by Bigelow for this post but some of the content does come from that trip. Also, this Verizon Voices Fashionista Style Hop is presented in conjunction with my participation in the Verizon Voices Boomer program and I have been provided with a wireless device and six months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the product. Stop by every Tuesday for all the fashion fun!

Bigelow Tea hosted a welcome reception at the historic Edmonton-Alston house and we met David and Eunice Bigelow, Co-Chairmans and Co-CEOs. Of Charleston’s many fine house museums, only the Edmondston-Alston House (constructed in 1825 and enhanced in 1838) commands a magnificent view of Charleston Harbor, which you can see in the background of many of these pictures.

The highlight of my evening was meeting David and Eunice Bigelow, 2nd generation, Bigelow Tea! The photo was taken with Samsung Galaxy Camera , 16MP, Optical 21x. 23MM Zoom Lens! Since I started using this smart camera, which can post to all social media including twitter and Instagram, I have basically stopped carrying and using my Ipad. The Samsung Galaxy Camera fits in my purse, does everything a Samsung Galaxy III phone does (except take phone calls) but it takes incredible pictures.

The Chief Blonde was thrilled to receive the biography of Ruth Bigelow, Founder of Bigelow Tea, penned by her son, David Bigelow, “My Mother Loved TEA”. This was one of the most precious gifts I have ever received as a blogger!
Be sure to follow along with details on the whole trip, the Bigelow’s, and my newest fascination with tea on our new Tea Series!

I love your dress and I would have loved to meet members of the Bigelow family, especially since I am a big tea drinker!
What a lovely dress. I do like your turquoise shrug. It complements you perfectly.
Thanks Bonnie!! The Chief Blonde
This outfit is even better in person. It looked adorable on you in Charleston! Glad I got to meet you there in person.
I have been to the Edmonston-Alston house. Charleston is my favorite city ever!!
How nice!! Love how your husband got to go with you. I’ll be happy to “borrow” that phone off you. 😉
I love the blue jacket you added with your gorgeous dress. Adds just enough color to dazzle it up!
Your dress is gorgeous. It looks like you had a grand time
Oh my goodness, Shelley —– your shoes! I must have them!
I’m really enjoying these. I hope to link up soon!
I would love you to link up your most recent spa visit and your pedicure. That would be perfect. The shoes and pedicure are great and everyone would like to see that spa!

This was so fun and I LOVE that dress in person and online! The shoes too I need those. Side note I love finding pieces of clothing a Sams! 🙂
Whitney thanks for linking up this week and thanks so much for your encouragement. Ahhh yes. I always troll Sam’s ladies aisle, they have some super hidden gems and so cheap… I always but one in every color!!
