Truly Mexican: Essential Recipes and Techniques for Authentic Mexican Cooking

still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks: is my favorite Mexican cookbook. The recipes are obviously by a great chef but the book teaches as you cook. The pictures are phenomenal and this is a large oversized hardcover book that you can display proudly on your cookbook shelf!

  • 128 recipes
  • Illustrations of every recipe

The colors on the cover are wonderful! I bet the photos inside are, too. I like that there are illustrations of every recipe. It’s Mexican Independence Day and what a great way to celebrate….with food!

I don’t like Mexican food, probably because I’ve never eaten any good Mexican food. I would purchase this cookbook so I could try some of the recipes and see if I could make some food that I can enjoy. Thank you for sharing this post.

Since I’m from New Mexico, and make Mexican food often, this book has some good authentic looking recipes.

Authentic and easy mexican food! I like it because we have lost our last good mexican place to eat here and I love mexican food. It would be really great to make my own. Something really authentic, those are the best.

It is great that they chose to do the book in sections (salsa, moles, etc) because then you don’t feel like you are stuck making an entree one way.

I like the way the recipes are broken down into steps and sections. That way you can mix and match which ever sauce to whatever meat you want to. No bounds.
