It appears that spring nail trends have two trends: ultra-nude/barely there or opaque brights and lights. I didn’t bring you any of the ultra-nudes and barely theres because, quite frankly, they are a yawn to look at. I prefer these shades but they just don’t make great pictures.

Inspired by the island vibe of Sophie Theallet’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection, Julie Kandalec for essie created a negative space double French tip nail using fiji and turquoise and caicos for the hands. I love this fun twist on the french manicure, don’t you?

For Jenny Packham Spring/Summer 2015 runway show which highlighted a rainbow colored collection, Michelle Saunders for essie created a youthful red-orange nail by using two coats of on both the hands and feet. I don’t have any shades in these orange tones, I adore this shade!
Stacey Bendet’s Spring/Summer 2015 presentation was heavily influenced by the beauty of Versailles. Rita Remark for essie utilized shades which included a custom soft lilac, a soft peach and a vibrant coral to flatter the collection.
Jin Soon created a literal green thumb to complement the garden-inspired Karen Walker Spring/Summer 2015 collection.

….

I really love the French manicure here. The little touch of green adds a little fun to it. You could do any color for that stripe to math the holidays.
I love their polishes. So many pretty colors!
This reminds me that I need to touch up the polish on my Clawz shoes.
They’re all so pretty but the red-orange manicure inspires me.
