Help college graduates find jobs

Today’s discussion on “Help your College Grad find a Job Faster” is brought to you by Fifth Third Bank.

Help college Graduates find jobs

Oh my goodness! Did you know that half of today’s college graduates do not have jobs? I have four children as you know, aged 22, 24, 25 and 26! They are all at various points in their college, graduate studies or post college lives. And I worry…

Help college Graduates find jobs

Don’t you worry if your kids will find jobs,

I was surprised to find out at least two hundred people apply for every job opening, while only 2% actually get interviewed*. Where would my kids find these jobs anyway? According to NextJob.com, 50% of jobs aren’t even posted online! That’s a shocking statistic.

Job Seekers just need a good map! Get Free Job Search Coaching.

According to NextJob.com, people are nearly three times more likely to get a job with job search help than without it. That would be just the map my kids would need.

What is Job Search Coaching? A good map. Here is some help for graduates to find that map!

Post-grad coaching is definitely a great idea. It can be hard to make the transition from college to the work force.

My job search out of college was so hard back in 1990. If only this had been available then.

I have heard how difficult the job market is these days, even for those with college degrees. I can see services like this becoming quite popular.

I am far from a graduate but I do know for a fact that companies like my husbands hire graduates because they make less money than less say someone older.

I am graduating next spring and I worry for myself, I think my biggest concern is not falling into the easy money trap that some jobs provide, but are hard to get out of later on. I want to be able to start a career and build up from there!

I have to say I’ve always loved Fifth Third Bank and this makes me love them even more! It’s too bad every graduate can’t have something like this. Great giveaway, glad there will be some lucky graduates!

The job market can be so hard for graduates and even those who have been in the market before. This sounds like a great program.

This is long over due as there are so many kids graduating that can not find a job with student loans to pay regardless. What a great program and I will be spreading the word.

I think what 5/3 is doing is really great. Jobs are there, but it can be hard to find them. Sometimes, all anyone needs is a helping hand.

This would have been super useful after I graduated from college. I’ll have to tell my sister about this! She will be done with college in the next little while.

I love this! When I graduated from nursing school I had a rough time finding a job because the market was too saturated. This would have been great help!

This sounds so helpful. My stepson is just starting college in September, but 4 years will go by quick.

This is so absolutely awesome I cannot even begin to say! My sister graduated from college about a year or more ago and has had a terrible time finding a job in her field. She finally had to settle for a waitress job that pays below minimum wage not including tips she receives. I also have several friends who had a tough time finding work after they graduated as well. I’ll have to pass this along! Thanks so much for the information 🙂

Sounds like a good service. It took me about 6 months to find a job after college, though I did find my job online.
