WorkFlowy, the Key to getting Organized, for a Blogger or Forgetful Women over 45 or Anyone!

August 2, 2011 By Shelley Zurek 17 Comments

JUST CAN’T STAY FOCUSED? ORGANIZED? ON TASK?

WORKFLOWY .COM IS YOUR SOLUTION

Workflowy

Workflowy is the coolest website that I have found.  This website was originally recommended to me by Mari Smith, the Facebook guru!  She is the most together and organized business woman that I can name so I went to check it out immediately at Workflowy.com!  When I got to the site, I had to do about a 3 second sign in, and then VIOLA, a blank page appeared. I just started outlining my brain, everything for my blog (and all the rest of my life) as shown above AND THAT WAS IT!  That’s all there is to it!  So simple.  A list that is on a website that you can get to from anywhere.

I know what you are thinking…”BIG WHOPPEEEE DEAL?  Chief Blonde, have you finally lost your mind?  It’s just a friggin outlined list”…yep, that’s all it is.  But I challenge you to use it for one week, one day, one hour or just one time.  You’ll be hooked.  I haven’t shown this site to one single solitary person who the next day or week hasn’t said to me, “I am so hooked on Workflowy!  Thanks for recommending it.  I can’t believe I didn’t know about this.  It has improved my life so much!”  I wish I could make some affiliate income off of this one…but NOOOOO!  It’s totally free.

GIVE WORKFLOWY.COM A TRY!  (I double dog dare ya!)  Let me know what you think!

Was this post helpful to you? Could you Stumble it for the Chief Blonde HMMMM????

Blog Note:  I was not compensated in any way for this blog post.  I just know my readers will love  the information, and love me for it!  Isn’t that special?

Thank you! I use my notepad for something similar but I can’t open it from anywhere at anytime. This is going to be great, I mean exceptional – no, I mean incredible for me. Thanks Steve Pots for the e.ggg.time.com reference as well!

This is nice I was actually looking for something like this. A great tool to use with this would be e.ggtime(dot)com It is an online timer. I set the timer before I start a task and then try to get the task done before the time runs out. It is a great way to help you concentrate on the task and prevents you from being distracted my emails, tweets and Facebook while you work. I have learned to get more done and I’m starting to cut the amount of time I take to do my daily tasks and this has freed me up to spend more time with the kids.

So, if I get hooked after trying it for a week, what’s it gonna cost me?

I’m trying it out (of course)…but I kinda like the strikethrough thing you show. How did you do that? When I strike through, it then removes it from my list. I like seeing stuff I’ve done, it makes me feel like I’ve accomplished something. LOL.

Just what I need to nail down that floating todo list and the feeling of “oh crap I think I’m forgetting something!” Thanks 🙂

Workflowy just sucked away an hour of my life. Hm… not sure if this is going to result in me being any more productive, but I sure am enjoying wasting time on it.

OK! I just spent about 10 minutes using WorkFlowy and….

    IT.IS.AWESOME!

This is the easiest, most practical solution for “brainstorming” and organization! I just went straight to work without needing ANY help or instruction.

I can finally organize my “stream of consciousness” on the computer.

    THANK YOU!
