Blur Skin Imperfections: Lancôme’s Visionnaire [1 Minute] Blur

October 8, 2014 By Shelley Zurek 42 Comments

Today’s discussion on Blur Skin Imperfections with Lancôme Visionnaire [1 Minute] Blur is part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #PhotoPerfectSkin

Blur and Minimize Pores

Women over 45? Are you seeing those pores a little too much?

Contributing factors to pores getting larger are:

  • Gender–men have larger pores with age than women
  • Age–pores start to look larger as your older skin loses its elasticity
  • Skin type–people with oily skin tend to have larger pores
  • Sun exposure–thickens your skin causing skin cells to collect at the edges of pores, stretching them out
  • Heredity–if one or both or your parents have large pores, you may have or develop larger pores

What’s a woman to do about enlarged pores as she ages? Skin finishers…

If you google solutions for “enlarged pores” you will find an endless array of confusing unproven solutions from home remedies to expensive pore cleaning techniques. However, a new product has emerged in recent years that has set women’s beauty routines upside down–skin finishers. A skin finisher is so named because it goes on last  (over serums, moisturizers, and sunscreen) forming a physical barrier over any products underneath of it. Instant perfection, that seems worth a try.

Lancôme’s Visionnaire [1 Minute] Blur has just been launched. It’s a one minute add on to your beauty routine that promises to blur your skin imperfections. You apply Visionnaire [1 Minute] Blur over moisturizer but before makeup application. You can also use it throughout the day for touch-ups. Get a quick peek at how Lancôme’s Visionnaire [1 Minute] Blur works by watching this short video of a Woman over 45:

Just 1 minute for flawless skin

One minute? That doesn’t seem like too much time added to your beauty routine, does it? Might be fun to give Visionnaire 1-Minute Blur a try for smoothing skincare. It contains the skincare properties of Visionnaire and is enriched with PhotoSmooth™ optical technology. The oil-free formula of the product blends seamlessly onto skin and leaves a matte finish, minimizing imperfections instantly (like enlarged pores). Overtime, your skin will look smooth and hydrated.

A common question: how is Visionnaire 1-Minute Blur different than a skin primer?

The Lancôme team provided a great answer for that question.

Visionnaire Blur is different from …primers because it is a skin finisher that blurs pores, wrinkles and fine lines. It provides the perfect base for foundation and powder for a flawless, even complexion. New Visionnaire Blur can also be worn without makeup and applied on top of your daily moisturizing cream.

What’s your Skincare priority?

Correcting skin texture, fine lines and wrinkles is a priority for Women over 45. Lancôme [1 Minute] Visionnaire Blur utilizes a matifying effect that results in skin instantly looking visibly smooth and reducing the appearance of wrinkles, pores, and uneven texture (over time in 4 weeks). Try it today, 1 minute seems worth the time, doesn’t it?

You can find more information and answers to your questions about the new Visionnaire Blur at the  Lancôme site.

I don’t have the pore issue yet but do have a couple of darker spots on my face. Just started a new product – hoping to see a difference.
