Tulip Manicure, Tulip Nail Art + Video

 Lovely Red Tulips Manicures

tulip Nail Art

We are featuring a unique tulip manicure from Jin Soon Choi, founder of the JINsoon Nail Lacquer line and Jin Soon Hand & Foot Spas in NYC.

Creating the Tulip Manicure

  • File and shape your nails to a natural square shape.
  • Apply a base coat like JINsoon Power Coat.
  • Apply JINsoon Dolly Pink on the entire nail bed.
  • With a thin brush, create the tulip petals with JINsoon Cherry Berry.  Starting at the cuticle area, draw a straight line down towards the tip of the nail, curving left ¾ of the way down to create an arch and then fill in the shape.  Repeat on the right side of the same nail to create a mirroring shape.
  • Apply top coat like JINsoon Top Gloss for a lasting glossy finish.

“Tip-Toe Thru’ The Tulips With Me”

Tiptoe through the window
By the window, that is where I’ll be
Come tiptoe through the tulips with meOh, tiptoe from the garden
By the garden of the willow tree
And tiptoe through the tulips with meKnee deep in flowers we’ll stray
We’ll keep the showers away
And if I kiss you in the garden, in the moonlight
Will you pardon me?
And tiptoe through the tulips with meKnee deep in flowers we’ll stray
We’ll keep the showers away
And if I kiss you in the garden, in the moonlight
Will you pardon me?
And tiptoe through the tulips with meThe Chief Blonde was not compensated for this post. She provided it to her readers for their enjoyment! Images provided my JINSoon. Reminder: This post may contain affiliate links or sponsored content. Clicking a link helps to keep my site running.

These are so attractive, both in design and in color shades. I wish my nails were half as pretty as yours.

This really dresses up and brings attention to your nails. So many people could pull off this look, but I can see a “Pinterest” fail in my future. I have enough trouble painting my nails one color. The design looks easy….haha. My daughter might be able to.

I remember Tiny Tim too. That was a long time ago. I don’t generally do my nails because I end up with a mess.

My husband has been painting my toenails lately. Because my mom said if I’m gonna wear sandals my nails needed to be painted.

I went for green. She wasn’t happy. So I changed to purple. She likes that better but not a lot.

It does make her laugh. Which was a big part of why I did it. I’ll have to post some pics of my toes sometime..

This would look hysterical on me since I am NOT artistic and can’t even draw a straight line with my left hand. But I’m sure it looks great on you!

This looks really cool…though I probably would not do it myself and the Tiny Tim memory was hysterical…still surprised he got the air time he did. But the manicure is a fun one!
