What won’t happen if YOU get sick this holiday?

How fun!! i bet this was a great time with lots of awesome info!! So sad that I missed it!!
Omgosh I spent this whole Christmas sick!! Such a pain in the butt!! I made it through but man… it was awful!!
I am glad to hear you are better now Amber. The Chief Blonde
The annual family Christmas photo won’t get taken because I coordinate that and the annual post-Thanksgiving dinner tree decorating will fall by the wayside
You have some cute shoes on here! The shirt tied at the waist seems like what you would do if you are hot and don’t have anywhere to hang your jacket. I do remember this in the 90’s! The things the young do for fashion! Don’t you feel like you have worn it all? I know I do!

Ann the Shoes are Seychelles (Rita) or Anthropologie (Ringsend). You can still find them on ebay. In fact, I just got a second pair of these shoes (new) in an 8 (by accident, I wear an 8.5) so I am going to resell them. There is a gray and oxblood pair in the same style but I haven’t been able to find those yet in my size. The shirt tied at the waist thing…yeah, I YOUTH. I often think it would be hilarious to do a monthly post on current trends and then let us over 45 girls try it (it could be serious or humorous…) Thanks for posting this week. The Chief Blonde, Shelley
Our new puppy will likely have an accident and chew up someone’s shoes if I am in bed where I can’t keep an eye on her. Just one of the many things that I am sure would fall apart with out me. LOL!
I think my family will just spend the entire holiday season in front of TV
Hahahaha – the goat’s won’t get milked. I will never again be able to find anything in my kitchen because for some reason my husband knows where to get the pot to cook his dinner but does not know where to put it back after he is done. The cats will go feral. And I don’t want to discuss what will start to grow in the bathroom.
I think you need to blog about this. You are hilarious. Truly…go do it. CHALLENGE! The Chief Blonde
Well, I’m a busy body who gets all her holiday prep done months in advance (kinda for this reason, because when I get sick I’m down for a while). But I suppose I simply wouldn’t be able to see my family on the holidays, of fear of getting them sick.
A lot of productiveness won’t happen if I get sick…lol…because I get a lot slower
If I get sick this holiday, I won’t be able to make the turkey, wrap the presents, participate in our holiday tradition of attending a local light show and bonfire. Ugh, that would stink.
Isn’t this the truth? When all of my kids were at home I think I literally willed myself NOT to get sick during the holidays.. I always thought, “Hhmm.. Let’s see if Santa really is real if I take this NyQuil and sleep through the next 4 days..” 🙂 But, of course it never happened because Mom’s don’t get sick days, hell, Mom’s don’t ever get sick do they???
