Eastside Skin Care & Laser Center , New Rochester Hills Location!

April 16, 2013 By Shelley Zurek 13 Comments

Achieve a more Youthful Appearance

and Improve the Health of Your Skin in Rochester Hills, MI

Eastside Skin Care & Laser Centet

I was invited as a blogger to see the new location of the Eastside Skin Care & Laser Center at their Open House on Thursday, April 11th. The facility is located at 1349 S. Rochester Rd, Suite 125 Rochester Hills, MI 48307.

While there I not only saw their spacious and bright facilities but I was able to talk with representatives from Botox,® Juvederm™,  and Ultherapy.   The staff was so friendly with each of them taking time to speak with the droves of guests who attended the event. The knowledgeable, mostly female staff  seemed to be on a first name basis with many of the attendees, with hugs and smiles in abundance! What a welcoming environment, I observed!

Have you ever been to a Skin Care & Laser Center?

I had never been to a Skin Care & Laser Center. Trust me at 51, I had loads of questions! I was mostly interested in pricing and everyone was more than willing to discuss the cost of each treatment and the duration of the procedure. I liked the openness of the staff. It all felt very transparent and I was encouraged that the staff  just wanted to give their clients exactly what they wanted and needed!

What services will you find at Eastside Skin Care & Laser Center? Approximate costs?

Eastside Skin Care & Laser Center offers Skin Care including:

  • Microdermabrasion
  • Chemical Peels
  • Laser Hair Removal

They also offer Appearance Enhancement (I note how much it would cost for the treatments for me at my age given my skin condition.  All costs are approximate):

  • Photo Rejuvenation
  • Wrinkle Reduction: I talked to the Botox rep. She indicated that based on the condition and aging of skin my forehead, it would cost approximately $300 to get Botox injections. She noted that the treatment would last about 3-4 months. Overtime, with continued use, I would need it less frequently and not tend to need as much.
  • EyeLash Enhancement
  • Facial Fillers: I talked with the Juvederm rep and she explained in detail the differences between wrinkle reducers–like Botox and Facial fillers–like Juvederm. Essentially, Botox reduces wrinkles by not allowing your face to make the movements that are causing those wrinkles. Facial Fillers, like Juvederm, fill in lines on your face and return your face to a more youthful plump look.
  • Spider Vein Treatment
  • Ultherapy:  Is a non-invasive procedure which is FDA approved.  It’s ultrasound  and it can lift your Neck ($2000), Jaw/lower Face ($2500) and Brow area ($2000).  Full Face can run ($3000-$3500)

That’s great that they were so open. I would want to know if any of them had had it and what would they honestly recommend to one of their family members. It’s National Mud Pack Day so have a facial and pamper yourself.

I would ask if it’s possible to remove acne scars and how long will it take to see the results.

I would ask about spider vein therapy. 🙁 Having babies made them much worse.

I have had laser hair removal. I highly recommend it especially for under arms. It is so nice not to worry about shaving come tank top season.

I have had microderm abrasion before and I really loved it! I would love to do it again actually, my skin was brighter and just better in general afterwards, so smooth!

I’d probably ask how to best care for my skin.

I’ve been to a local “wellness center” that does some of these things but I just had a foot massage and tried some of their wellness products. I think most of the things at the clinic you visited sound great though.

I am not even 40, but I start getting some stuff on my face that is so not welcome. I’d love to at least know the right way to care for my skin to make sure it stays looking ok for a while

Hah if you really think you need any of that done…you are suffering from delusions.

    That”s MY opinion of that!!

Which I suppose makes you perfectly normal for a woman our age :p

I think I’d be most interested in Laser Hair removal, but I’d be asking about those prices just as much! I think skincare clinics are a nice alternative to the spa, where you can rejuvenate yourself on a scale a little more long-term, and really see and feel the results in your confidence.
