Thank you so much for putting this info out for all of your readers! I believe that every little bit helps and we can all make a difference in the lives of those less formulate than us. I am proud to see such a giving and selfless post on one of my favorite blogs, just another reason why I love following you! Thank you!
Such a great list of what’s needed. I love. We donated some fresh produce in summer, but it was a special event
Non PErishable Grains are my top donation; I can get them for free for pennies and help feed those in need.I’m always unsure about beverages, glad to see I can donate the large fruit juices!
What a great way we as individuals can help those in need this Holiday Season. And thank you for sharing how large corporations are doing their part to help Cross off Hunger too.
Thanks for sharing this. I have pinned it and will be sharing on FB and twitter. But even more than that, I will go “shopping in my pantry” to see what I already have to help out (then fill in the “blanks”) and deliver to our food bank during the week.
I’m involved with a local food bank and there is a growing need wit the economy. I love most of these products listed. All of these brands are usually in my basket too.
Repinned. Thanks for writing about this.
I’m a big supporter of food banks–and right in keeping with the season. GREAT reminder.
Personal care items! I would never think to donate that, but it totally makes sense! Thanks for the great ideas, Shelley, and proof that you can donate without spending too much. $24 on name brand items is the same as making your own coffee instead of buying from Starbucks for 2 work weeks… which really isn’t all that bad.
Thank you for sharing the top ten, perfect timing too! And all so cheap. I need to get on this quick!
It’s so important to donate to your local food shelf!
