The Chief Blonde Remarks: The Comfort Revolution Hydraluxe Bed Pillow had the dimensions: (16″ x 24″ x 5″) and was an excellent replacement for my latex foam core pillow that I usually sleep on. Why? I love my Latex Foam core except they are very pricey! So why was the Comfort Revolution Hydraluxe Bed Pillow a pillow that I would EVEN consider? Let me just say two things: 1)Menopause and 2) husband who is a furnace. This pillow was found in an independent study to stay cooler longer than any other pillow thanks to that amazing layer of Hydraluxe gel! Well, that convinced me I needed to try it. THIS PILLOW IS SHOCKINGLY COOL. Okay, I said it. It’s so so so nice and cool. Perfect for a menopausal woman. So comfortable, a perfect replacement for a Latex Foam core pillow. My biggest issue? The furnace (aka. my husband) keeps stealing it and using it on the coach for his back and for snoozing on the couch. I keep telling him “No” this pillow is mine and it’s a “Bed” pillow…but does he listen NO!!!!! So..sigh. I adore this pillow and give it two thumbs up, unfortunately so does my darling (furnace) husband.

I too bought this pillow because it sounded so good in the ads. Used it the first night and also woke up with a headache. My daughter thought I was just being picky so I told her to use it. I found it on the floor as she said it smelled awful. I can’t take it back to Costco as I threw away the box. Can anyone give me a suggestion on what to do??
YOu can take anything back to Costco at anytime. If you have the receipt, they’ll take it back. The Chief Blonde!
I got to this site while looking for reviews on this pillow. I love how it feels, but the odor has permeated the bedroom, bathroom, hallway.

I have had the same experience as D. Lattanzio: Very strong outgassing even after two weeks of airing the pillow, and cotton pillowcase taking on the odor. The odor gave me headaches and sinus irritation. In addition to being toxic, the pillow, while comfortable to lie on as a back sleeper, is unyieldingly firm when I try to sleep on my side. IN short: Back to Costco it goes.
Hydraluxe pillow has strong glue or foam smell. I have it and cannot use it..
Don’t know if it will ever degas.
Pillow case that I put on this pillow contacted the same odor. Washed it out.

My husband & I have had the same off gassing experience. We cannot use this pillow for that reason. The smell is horrible.

I love the cooling gel because my house gets so hot at night, the hot air rises! It makes it hard to sleep.
I love the “no more pillow flipping” feature! No more waking up with a sweaty, hot face. That would be wonderful!!
I like the Refreshing Gel because I tend to sweat alot at night.

Cool-Cerulean-Waves-Hydraluxe-Contour-Pillow looks so nice 🙂 I do a lot of reading on my computer (on line books) and my neck and back always hurt but this looks like it just might solve the problem, and that would be so nice
I love that it cradles your head and neck AND keeps you cool so you aren’t tossing and turning all night and you get some real rest!
The cool gel layers would be nice to help stop tossing and turning and I would hope the memory foam would help align my neck for less headaches
I just HATE a hot pillow at night and I wake up several times to flip it over to the “cool side” – this would be perfect!
