Ila Personal Safety Alarm Accessories Review

August 6, 2011 By Shelley Zurek 152 Comments

Threatening Situations demand ila personal Safety Alarm!

Ila SPORT image Personal Safety Alarm

Ila Dusk $29.99

Considering a Personal Safety Alarm for your daily job?  Walk to work?  Vacation?  Sending a child off to college or school?  Ila is introducing a full line of Safety Accessories that Women over 45 (and our younger friends) and their kids will LOVE.  ila is the perfect stylish choice for an active empowered women.   User friendly,   the Ila product range will keep you feeling safe and “alarmed”  for all you everyday situations where you could use that little extra protection!

Still Blonde small Chief Blonde remarks:  I am in shock how cool I think Ila Personal Safety Accessories are.  They are so loud–and the ila personal safety alarm sounds like someone screaming so there is no denying that it is an alarm!  I think this would be an excellent  gift for a child heading off to school or an older teen destined for college.  The Ila Sport model enables a sense of security so you can walk, jog, or run outside all the while feeling safer so you don’t have to alter your lifestyle.  I also like that they have a complete range of products so you can use them day or night.  I reviewed the Ila Sport which is an alarm pedometer.  It has a high decibel siren along with a pedometer and calorie counter.  And it also includes a clock!   (MSRP 29.99)  The pedometer measures in miles or kilometers which I thought was especially advantageous.  I also reviewed the Ila Dusk (Msrp $24.99) which is a personal alarm that can be hung from a key ring.  When activated in emits a high decibel female scream. You just pull a chain to activate it, and WOW is it LOUD (130dB)!  So just how loud is 130 dB?  It’s as loud as a military jet taking off from an aircraft carrier with afterburner…yeah, that’s loud!   Both the Ila Dusk and the Ila Sport are extremely stylish and compact so you don’t look like you are toting around a big obnoxious device.  I’m sold.  LOVE!

The feature I think my daughter would like best of the Ila dusk is the fact that she can change the appearance to match her mood, clothes, etc.

My Not-So-Bebe-Girl Autumn is off to college this week; I’d definitely feel better about her being off on her own if she had one of these for security. (even though the school is in a wonderful, safe area, a parent still worries). I also like the Pebble Keyring alarm here: http://www.ilasecurity.com/us/our-products/ila-pebble/

It’s small enough to simply hold in your hand without trying to dig it out of a pocket.

Thanks for the chance to win!

I like that it has a discreet personal alarm that actually ‘screams’ for your safety.
