Casual “Dress”ing, Karina Josie Dress

January 12, 2014 By Shelley Zurek 99 Comments

Date Night gets “Dressed” Down

Blog Note: Whoot! I was provided a gorgeous Josie Karina dress for this review!

Casual "Dressing" Karina Dresses Josie #dresstacular 2

Location: Vinsetta Garage, Royal Oak, MI. The Chief Blonde is wearing Karina Josie Dress with 3/4 sleeve ($138, on sale now for $60), Scottevest Penny Coat ($200), Shoe Cult Flux Buckled Boot by Nasty Gal ($98), Beaded Mesh Scarf/Belt by Monroe and Main ($25), Red Leather Clutch (similar)

The Karina Josie Dress

The Josie Dress from Karina Dresses is a swing a-line. It comes in cap sleeves, 3/4 sleeves, and full length sleeves, Sizes 0-12. Can you believe it? The Josie, 3/4 sleeve is  on sale now for a mere $60 (that’s a steal folks)! You can machine wash this dress, hang it to dry, and Karina dresses never need ironing.  Isn’t that fab?

What I like about this Karina Josie dress (and most Karina Dresses really) is the versatility. Here I am wearing it in a very casual manner with buckle shoes and I had paired it with a leather jacket. Another night that I wore it, I popped a black sparkly sequin top over it. The Josie looked great that way as well. I also find this length to be fun and flattering without being too short!

My lovely blogger friend, Jeannette wears the same Josie as me in her post,  Decking the Halls with Karina Dresses!

No ironing and machine wash…that’s for me. I really like the easy style. Plus, it’s a great idea for these dresses to come with different sleeve lengths. So many cute styles are cap sleeves or long sleeves. I’m too hot for long sleeves but want something to cover some of my arms. The 3/4 is a great length for me.

Isn’t it Sherry? I have always hated my arms in cap sleeves and such! Shelley

I love this Kwrina Josie dress with long sleeves and that it is machine washable, hang to dry and no ironing. I hate ironing!

This animal print just goes with everything especially at the holidays. It would be a good look at Valentine’s events too.

While this style isn’t one of my faves, it totally looks great on you!! I also totally love the fact that Karina dresses are so easy care….I don’t have time or energy to deal with dry cleaning or ironing as a mama of littles, but I do love to dress pretty!!

The Leopard dress is adorable and animal prints are still in and I like this black and white combo plus that red scarf really sets off the look in a good way.
