I had a stroke on July 12, 2011 and one of the things I have been doing to get my fine motor skills back is painting nails. My friends liked them a lot and one of them suggested I try an Etsy online shop. I liked the idea and it just took off from there. I love painting nails and I hope my customers enjoy their nails as much as I enjoy making them!

Sentimental Stamped Heart Manicure

Valentine Manicure Sentimental Stamped Hearts 2

Heart nail stamps are a fab and flirty way to add pizazz to your Valentine’s Day mani! Before you do this design, make sure you have pale pink polish, dark pink polish, clear topcoat, and a nail stamp kit with a heart stamping plate on hand. We like the Nail Art Stamping Set by Shany Cosmetics. Paint your nails pale pink and let dry, then place dark pink polish over the heart design on the stamping plate, and use the nail kit’s scraper to rid the plate of excess polish. While the dark pink polish is still wet, place the stamper over the plate so the heart design transfers, then press the stamper down on the nail. Do this until each nail is adorned with flirty dark pink hearts. Finish the look by adding a clear topcoat to each nail.

All of these designs are very nice but my favorite is the Blue at Heart Turquoise and White Manicure. Of course you don’t have to use turquoise and white, you can use any color combo you want.

The nails are very pretty. I don’t take time to do my own nails, but now since I’ve seen this I will try… : )
