Action Shot Video Camera Review with Still Blonde

Still Blonde Doll Prepares for her Action Shot Video Camera Test and Video Shoot

still blondeThe Chief Blonde Remarks:  We recently had the opportunity to review the Action Shot Video Camera.  It’s a crazy fun digital video camera that anyone 7 year+ can use.  And Wow oh WOW…it’s so fun.  Walt and I were laughing our heads off filming the video sequence.

Women over 45..do you remember how much fun you and your friends would have with your cassette tape recorder?  How you would interview each other, sing with the radio while recording your voice, and record songs off the radio all with that little microphone?  Wasn’t it hours worth of fun?  Well, the Action Shot Video Camera is JUST LIKE THAT.

Action Shot Video Camera ($49.99)

The more we played with the camera, the more fun we had.  This camera is made for action.  It shoots both videos and stills.  We strapped the camera to “Still Blonde”–see picture at top–our mascot for our blog, and put her through all kinds of ridiculous situations.  Now if two grown ups can enjoy a toy so thoroughly,  can you imagine how much fun a tech savy child will have?

Check out this ACTION SHOT VIDEO to see the adventures of STILL BLONDE  with this First Person Shot Camera!

Improvements

We were not able to get the Action Shop App working.  So while we could watch our videos on Real Player on our computer, we were not able to create a Movie with their Action Shot Video App from the Website.  As the Chief Blonde is pretty computer/tech savvy ..this was quite puzzling.  However, she quickly loaded the clips into Windows Movie Maker and cranked out a video in no time.  You will note that the picture quality is  low but more than adequate for a video at this price point.  It is definitely optimized for outdoor use (and who doesn’t like to get the kids outside?)  so that is the place I would recommend for shooting.  Finally, while the maker recommends use of this camera on high action situation like snow boarding, skate boarding  etc…the active minded child (or adult) would have great fun dreaming up ways to use this fun little camera in many other situations as well.

What a wild ride! So cool to see the world through Still Blonde’s adventures.

My sisters and I used to love making fauxmercials on our little cassette player. Whenever I try to pull up memories of my childhood, the commercials are where I land. We coulda had fun with an Action Cam!

I love how small the Action Shot it, it’s great for hardcore sports enthusiasts, pets, and even kids. I can’t believe how smooth the video is in movement.

How fun and love your doll! My cousin and I use to spend countless hours recording our skits we wrote on our tape recorder. I can only imagine the fun times we would have had with one of these. Very fun review. Thanks for sharing.
