still blonde The Chief Blonde Remarks: Many of you already know that I am a Skin Authority Junkie. So much so that I rarely ever review any other skin products on my blog. EVERYTHING makes my skin break out..well almost…not Skin Authority products (Read Reviews here, here, and here). Their Sunless Tanner is no exception in my love affair. I love Sunless Tanner and have been a huge fan of a competitor’s product for a very very long time! I am desperately white (not that there is anything wrong with that)..every once in awhile I just yearn for my skin to have a BIT of a glow. So even though I LOVE Skin Authority, trying a new Sunless Tanner…even if it is from Skin Authority…well… I hesitated.

The aspect that appealed to me about the Skin Authority tanner is that it did not smell (and it really didn’t). The Skin Authority Sunless Tanner did not make a big mess (for my other fav self tanner I have to wear gloves..yes gloves). It was simple to smooth on..just like moisturizer and my skin changed color gradually–not in a shocking way but in a nice “warm it up” kind of way. I wouldn’t say I got a DEEP tan..heck I never do, but I got a pleasing color that did not look fake and the product didn’t get all over my sheets or clothes. I also like that Skin Authority Sunless Tanner contains no harmful fragrances, parabens or harmful dyes. Women over 45 will adore this product as it is gentle on your skin and covers some of those skin imperfections that can make our skin look a tad bit ghastly! Yep, this product is going right up on my bathroom counter next to all my other Skin Authority Favs…Grab some for yourself while Skin Authority has their Buy One Get One Deal going on!

I use mineral make-up so the Skin Authority Daily Cleanser really gets the make-up off of my skin, whereas water or soap/water will not, but the Daily Cleanser is gentle so I don’t end up looking like a prune. I use the Skin Authority Tri-Power Peptide Hydrator each day before applying my makeup (if I remember). I like to use it under my makeup to keep a “Dewy” look. Probably, my favorite Skin Authority product is the Resurfacing Accelerator. I am a Women over 45 and menopausal. This product helps me with all those lines and wrinkles and keeps my skin looking bright…it stings a bit when you first begin to use it..but that means its working. I found this product really helped with my rosacea–a condition where skin takes on a red tone and often acne-like break outs occur. Chief Blonde’s Man Remarks: I have been using moisturizers for about 3 years now. Now that I am 51, my skin has gone from oily to dry. I occasionally show signs of redness and rosacea. I really liked the Skin Authority Sunscreen Moisturizer compared to others I have tried, it doesn’t have a strong fragrance so I don’t feel “Girly” wearing it and it doesn’t irritate my wife who is very fragrance sensitive. Another reason I like the moisturizer is that it has such a high SPF. With all the yard work I do in the spring, I value this component as my family tends toward skin cancer. I used the Skin Cleanser each day in the shower…it wasn’t complicated to use. …I felt like the Night Revitalizer was a product I never would have tried if it wasn’t in the kit…but it was my favorite. I think the combination of products in the kit have helped reduce the redness in my face–which let’s face it–is very aging! As well, I like the concept of the kit, it’s small so I can throw it in my suitcase or duffel bag and there is no problem at airport security. I’m a typical man, I don’t like stuff all fussy and overdone..the simplicity of use and uncomplicated packaging keep me coming back and using the products again.
