Lisa Whelchel, The Facts of Life star and Survivor: Philippines fan favorite says:

“I’m an everyday woman when it comes to fitness. I know exercise is key for my health and well-being, but I don’t always enjoy doing it. And as a busy working mom, I have a hard time fitting workouts into my schedule. But I’ve learned that having fun with exercise can make all the difference. So I’ve teamed up with trainer Janice Clark to demonstrate two safe, sane, and effective workouts for women of all shapes and sizes.” Lisa adds, “If you’re an everyday woman like me who isn’t looking for rock hard abs but wants to be healthier, stronger, more energetic, and have a looser waistband, follow us and have some fun!”

Decoding Annie Parker Trailer

Make sure to view this important movie trailer focusing on Metastatic Breast Cancer

Decoding Annie Parker is a feature film based on the real lives of two remarkable women. It is the story of Anne Parker, played by Samantha Morton, a sharp witted, funny and irrepressible young woman who watches her mother, then sister, fall victim to breast cancer. When later, she herself is diagnosed with the disease she believes that her cancer must be hereditary in nature. She is resolved to fight back against immeasurable odds. The film is also the story of Dr. Mary-Claire King, played by Helen Hunt, the Berkeley based geneticist whose discovery of the BRCA1 gene and its link to hereditary breast cancer forever changed the understanding of the disease. Hers is considered one of the most important scientific discoveries of the 20th century. SOURCE  The Theresa Harpole Foundation for Metastatic Breast Cancer  Web Site:

still Blonde after all these YEARSThe Chief Blonde remarks: This move stars Helen Hunt, a blonde woman over 45 (love her acting) with a very important bit of history and a even more important message. I can’t wait to see this movie. I usually don’t like tear jerkers but this one seems like the message is too important to miss.

Bertha Palmer

“Love Under Fire: The Story of Bertha & Potter Palmer” — is now available on DVD.  Produced by River Forest-based Corn Bred Films, the half-hour program tells two love stories: one between young socialite Bertha Honore and the self-made millionaire 23 years her senior, and another between the Palmers and the muddy Midwest outpost they helped transform into a world-class city after the Great Chicago Fire in 1871. The hope is that this DVD will facilitate a full feature film!  Learn more at Courting Bertha!  Who do you think should be Bertha in the movie?

It’s the most mythic of all American emporiums – a one-of-a-kind Manhattan institution where over the last century, the view of fashion has been transformed into modern art.  But behind Bergdorf Goodman’s magical window displays lies a very real world where the rich and famous wield their power and eccentricity, where young and talented designers have their dreams granted and denied, and where money and ambition co-mingle with radical ideas of beauty and provocative style.  Now, for the first time, audiences get a chance to peek inside this world, as Matthew Miele’s Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf’s explores the history, inner workings and untold stories behind the store’s rise from a modest ladies’ tailor shop to a mirror of contemporary culture.
