still blonde The Chief Blonde Remarks: Today, I’m giving away the Side Saddle dress from Shabby Apple , an online boutique of women’s dresses. This is my first dress from Shabby Apple although I have been stalking the Shabby Apple Site for over a year and admiring their designs on other blogs. I ordered the Shabby Apple Review Dress in “Side Saddle“, a lovely aquamarine and light brown dress. I wore this little ensemble to Mother’s Day Brunch with my kids and it was perfect. From the second I slipped the dress on, (I ordered my normal size and it fit like a glove), I knew I was in LOVE! I felt like I was channeling Kate Middleton with the dress’s simple yet elegant design and high quality construction. It was super duper slimming with its slightly high waist design and the sweetheart neckline emphasized the vintage feel. The dress was fully lined coupled with quality zippers and seaming. These clothes are the well made, high end-clothes that you wear for fishing, horseback riding, mountain climbing, hiking when saving money isn’t your first priority and you want your clothes to last. I loved the Oxbow Skirt from the Casual Lifestyle Collection. I thought it looked fun and flirty with my tights and kitten heels (I was working the Audrey Hepburn goes fly fising angle) but it would look equally as cute with some Sperry topsiders or comfy walking sandals. The Shirt from the Granite Creek Collection seems as if it was custom designed for me. The fact that the shirt had UVA/UVB 50+ protection is ideal for a super pale girl who burns to a crisp in the sun like I do. I need a shirt like this for the summer, I can wear it as a cover-up whenever I am in the sun without looking like I have on too many clothes.

stillblonde3 small The Chief Blonde Remarks: I had never tried Old Navy BEST-TEES before. I love old Navy and have shopped there for years but usually for my daughter or my boys. Sure, I have bought myself the occasional dress, but never t-shirts. I was surprised at the quality of the Old Navy Best Tees. The shirt was nice and long for tucking or wearing out, the colors were bright and springy, and the material felt..well very expensive. But the Vintage tee was NOT expensive, it is a mere $9.50 and comes in oodles of colors. Yep, going to be throwing some more of these in my cart!
