GOOGLE PAGERANK UPDATE FOR JUNE, 2011 MEANS NOTHING! BUT HOW DO YOU FEEL?

People always say, “Provide Great Content and They will Come! Don’t Pay Attention to Google PageRank!”

I have so much to say about this I just cannot begin to type. But Women over 45, know that a picture says a 1000 words doesn't it? This is how I felt yesterday, June 27, 2011 when the Google Update started to roll out: Now today, I feel more like this: You remember BOZO, the Clown--Don't you? Well he personifies how I feel today after dropping from 3 to a 2...Like a Clown. Now there isn't anything wrong with a 2 unless you are dropping DOWN to it! I know because when I was a Google PageRank 3 versus when I was a 2 it made a difference in the ads/opportunities/etc. that I was offered. But you know what BOZO , the Clown says in his Theme song right?

Just keep Laughin'! Don't you ever Frown! BOZO is Back...the one and only BOZO the Clown!

So that's what the Blonde is going to do..."Just Keep Laughing" because as you know...I am the one and only Chief Blonde! Teehee?

I know some of you were really pleased with your Google PageRank. Congratulations! I am thrilled for you (Really!) Some of you were not! (I shake my Fist in the Air for you!)

Google PageRank has Updated (for Some) January 20, 2011! First Google PageRank Update for 2011

UnFRIGGING believable! I checked my PageRank today and it is now a 3!

THE NEWS

So there I was browsing my Facebook, when my Mega-Blogging Buddy Simply Stacie says she just got her page rank updated. (Her Rank was a “nothing” because she switched from Blogger to WordPress May, 2010 and Google had not updated PageRank since April, 2010.) So I went to Simply Stacie’s article to read her good news, and it was awesome NEWS! She is now a 4! (congrats Stacie–although she deserves to be a 7, because as we all know SIMPLY STACIE IS THE BEST! Wait another year and see where she is! )

HOW DO I CHECK MY PR?

So anyway I digress…I whipped over to Google PageRank Checker (which by the way has a Google Page Rank of 7) to check my own pagerank…and what do you know…I am now a 3! WHOOOOPEEE!! Seems silly to be so excited over a 3, but it really does mean a lot! Public Relations company’s look for a higher Page Rank when approaching bloggers, so do advertising companies! Being a 3 is a whole lot better than the 1 & 2 Ranks that I have held in the past. 3 is a baseline for many opportunities, so I am thrilled to have reached a new milestone. Yep, I am going over to update my Stats page RIGHT NOW!!!
