I will have to look into this further I am currently doing nursing research here at my university so this may be an interesting study to present to class. I do wonder if the study was done by a 3rd party or by the company sometimes that can make a big difference in results.

Is this something that is an all natural treatment?
Stefanie says
The research study is evaluating an investigational study medication which is estradiol in combination with progesterone and it is being evaluated in women experiencing hot flashes due to menopause. The estradiol and progesterone used in this study are similar to the natural estrogen and progesterone produced by your ovaries prior to menopause.

It this available nationwide? I have a few friends that are suffering through hot flashes. I am not looking forward to it.

Unfortunately at this time the REPLENISH Study is only recruiting patients at select research study sites in the U.S. Please check http://www.clinicaltrial.gov to find out if new sites become available in the coming months. [FYI- the company I work for is helping the pharmaceutical company get the word out about the trial.]

My mom barely got them. My grandma didn’t. I’m crossing fingers and toes I inherited their side of the family’s genes for hot flashes. We’ll find out soon enough.

How long is this study? It definitely would be great for those studying from hot flashes!
Stefanie says
Your participation in this study will last approximately 13.5 months and include 8 study visits to the study center (a screening period of approximately 6 weeks, followed by about a year of study treatment with the study medication, if you are enrolled in the study). Some procedures during the screening period may require an additional visit to complete.
