Styling Tips of Nicole Kidman’s Hair Shown above–TOP photo
For the 2013 SAG Awards, hairstylist David Babaii features Nicole Kidman’s new solid bob haircut with a sleek, super straight look. Do you LOVE IT? To fashion the look, David warmed a small amount of IT&LY’s Pure Water Drops in his palms before applying. He then dried Nicole’s hair with the hair dryer’s nozzle attachment and a large round brush to smooth and straighten the hair completely. Control is a must, to achieve flawless straight hair. David sectioned her hair first: top, sides and back. To begin, he started by drying the nape area first and then proceeded until her entire head was dry. After creating a center part and to ensure sleek perfection, he finished the hair with IT&LY’s Racing Red Professional 1″ Digital Iron.

At Saturday night’s Producer’s Guild Awards, Nicole Kidman’s hair sported a peek-a-boo bang and darling half up/half down hairstyle. David Babaii, Hairstylist, developed the look utilizing IT&LY HAIRFASHION’S eco-friendly and cruelty free Purity Design Line.
In styling the Nicole, he blow dried her hair with a mixture of IT&LY’s Pure Water Drops with Pure Fluid Experience. This combo gives hair a medium touchable hold w/ no build up + added shine. Using a medium round brush, David developed soft curls and a smooth rounded bang. When finishing the style, he created a dramatic side part for the bang, sweeping the hair to one side. At the crown, he lightly back combed the area and gently smoothed drawing the sides and top into a sexy poof at the back. The back and nape hair had soft curls using IT&LY’s Pure Water Drops to create style definition. To finish, David lightly misted the hair with IT&LY’s Pure Definition Hair Spray.

Keeping it Simple!!
Mama’s Raspberry Dump Cake Recipe, yes the title sounds unappetizing, but it is truly delicious.
This recipe is a cross between a cookie bar and a cobbler. I have been making this for four decades and still receive requests for it. It is a great addition to a brunch or as an evening dessert with a scoop of ice cream. Very easy, only five ingredients.
Mama’s Raspberry Dump Cake Recipe
This recipe is a heartwarming “go to” cobbler like dish. It is great served warm and very easy to assemble. I like to keep things simple.

Serves: 12
Ingredients
- 1 18-21 ounce can Pie filling ( strawberry/cherry/raspberry ) your choice
- 1 18-21 ounce can Crushed pineapple
- 1 18 ounce Yellow Cake Mix
- 1½ Sticks of Butter
- 1 cup of Sliced Almonds or Pecan pieces
Instructions
- Using a glass rectangular baking dish;
- Pour pie filling of choice and crushed pineapple into pan, mix together well.
- Dump dry yellow cake mix over fruit and spread evenly.
- For the next layer, slice the butter thinly, distributing uniformly over cake mix as you slice.
- Finish by sprinkling your choice of nuts on top.
- Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until top is golden brown.
- Cool 1 hour or until crust has hardened slightly.

Communications Disorders Can Affect Anyone at Anytime
How many Americans have Communication Disorders? 42 Million Americans have a speech, language or hearing disorder! Millions more are affected as well, as they struggle to support their loved ones who are frustrated by these issues. A communication disorder can happen to anyone at any time, limiting the potential for academic, social and career achievement.
My Grandmother had severe hearing loss in her later years, resulting from an undefined cause. My father has work-related hearing loss. With my grandmother, towards the end of her life, she couldn’t really talk on the phone because she couldn’t hear what the caller said. When you were in the same room with her, you needed to talk to her directly or she could NOT understand what you were saying. This normally sweet and calm woman was very frustrated by her loss of hearing. With my father, although his hearing is fine around the house, I notice that he has trouble hearing in large “party” type situations or most public venues. There seems to be too many inputs competing for his auditory senses. My father doesn’t really get that frustrated but it bothers my mother A TON! As is often the case, the secondary partner suffers as much as the person with the disorder.
What is a Communication Disorder?
Communication Disorders include: language, speech or voice disorders including such challenges as stuttering, balance, swallowing, and hearing impairment.

Annie Glenn and John Glenn provide inspiration for Communication Disorders Help
I hope that Lazaro Arbos is able to get the help he needs to overcome his stuttering like Annie Glenn, wife of Senator and astronaut John Glenn, did at age 50! Annie Glenn, a woman over 45, had a severe stutter which she was able to overcome with an intensive program. The Annie Glenn Award, is a pretigious award given to an individual who demonstrates Annie Glenn’s tireless efforts to build public awareness on behalf of those with communication disorders. Past recipients of the Annie Glenn Award include James Earl Jones,Vice President Joseph Biden, Julie Andrews, Bob and Lee Woodruff, Mick Fleetwood, Jane Seymour, Joey McIntyre and Bob Love.
