How amazingly natural they look. katie looked just that lovely at BlogHer12
I’ve loved Connie Britton since her “Friday Night Lights” days and she continues to look fantastic.
A couple of these are a little too structured and sprayed, but for the most part, i think these women look fabulous. love the softer looks.
Yes, I adore looking at how different Women over 45 execute their hair (or at least the stylists do). Thanks for your input!
I have to say having seen Katie at BlogHer12 this is a great look and most women can carry it off…doesn’t look insanely high maintenance, natural and attractive. Of course we are not all Katie…
Isn’t Katie just SUCH a beauty? The Chief Blonde
I took my mother’s advice when I hit my 30′s! If you find yourself putting your hair up more and more because you look better that way…then it is time you cut your hair!
I did just the opposite. My hair kept being down more and more and I figured..Why can’t I wear long hair if Meryl Steep does? Right? Good choice for you though! Moms often know best. The Chief BLonde
I like most of these and as a retired hairdresser, I will say age is the least of the determining factors for your style. It’s really all about how much time you want to spend on it and your face shape. If you’re an active gal and spend 10 mins or less on your hair styling each day, you need an extreme. Very short and pretty much wash, dry and run OR long enough to wash, comb and air dry. If you were blessed with curls, many times the extra length is awesome. Wash it, scrunch in some gel + mousse and out the door you go!
Now, if I had a stylist on call, I’d go back to the long hair, because I do think I look better in it, but it’s too time consuming for my busy life. So short and quick is how I’m doing it now,
Nice choice of shots…variety and real styles! ♥
