TRY EBATES TO SAVE YOUR PRECIOUS CASH!
Do you belong to Ebates? Ebates is one of the oldest and longest lasting rebate sites. Why? Because they give you money back and it’s totally uncomplicated. You simply go through their site to the site where you want to buy your online products and BAHM–they credit your rebate to your account. Once you have $5 in rebates, they mail you a check. I have received $100s over the years. I have been using ebates since 1998! Ebates is the only rebate site that I use on a regular basis. They often have Rebates from 3-6% and during holidays…they will often Double them. I use them to shop at JCPenney, Kohl’s, Drugstore.com and More. Any rebate that you receive from Ebates is in ADDITION to any the store is offering! Why NOT SIGN UP TODAY? It’s totally free to signup! Just a few examples of the ebates: Sears (7%), Coach (3%), Macy’s (6%), WOWZA!!

I was only a kid in the late 70s but I lived for the JC Penneys catalog! I thought it was so elegant and I used to dream about all the things I’d buy from it to put in my mansion. I would draw up floor plans and cut out various beds, lamps, etc., and tape them in the rooms. I was a weird kid. 🙂
The one thing that scared me when I was a kid was tornados. Watches, warnings, weather likely to spawn one; all of it paralyzed me. We lived five houses up from a siren and when it went off it was deafening. I’m sure that contributed to it because a lot of the time the tornado warnings came in the middle of the night. It wasn’t until I was a parent myself that I fully outgrew my fear.

Hi Shelly
Menopause is hard enough, and the fact that you were able to create some positive quotes out of it, speaks to the kind of person you are and how you take life on.

Thanks Laura!

Learning to trust myself has been an act of courage fueled by the loss of estrogen. I wonder is estrogen makes women more amenable because now that mine is fading I find myself much braver than ever before. Somehow I am learning to listen to my own instincts and trust what my heart and mind are telling me. I didn’t have that in my 20s. I’m so glad to be getting a whiff of it now.

Lovely and true thoughts Chloe! Thanks for being a wonderful addition to the over 45 group. I adore you! The Chief Blonde

Loved your quotes. Those photos from that catalog were a real blast from the past. Should I be embarrassed that I have sat at tables like that?
I was always afraid of clowns as a kid. Had I’d funneled the fear into the book “IT” instead of Stephen King I’d been working through my fears in a profitable manner. 🙂
