Did you survive the Iphone Crush Rush?
Apple Inc. has received over 600,000  advance orders for the new iPhone 4 world-wide on the first day the phone hit the market.  This tsunami  demand  caused a crush on  processing orders at U.S. carrier AT&T Inc.  When you go to the AT&T link for the iPhone 4 and click on it http://www.att.com/wireless/iphone/ it indicates that pre-orders have been temporarily suspended!  Can you say, “I wish I owned Apple Stock”?
Apple noted that the pre-orders are 10 times higher than for the release of the iPhone 3GS just last year and  is the most pre-orders that Apple had ever taken in a single day.  Also accompanying the pre-order process was a number of system malfunctions for which Apple has now apologized!

“Many customers were turned away or abandoned the process in frustration,” Apple said in a statement. “We apologize to everyone who encountered difficulties.”

The Women over 45 that I know were excited to get one of these phones. Who knew that people could get this excited over a phone?  Are you?  Did you get one in the crushing rush?
