Born in Mogadishu, Somalia, and the daughter of a diplomat, Iman
travelled the world from a very young age, becoming engrossed in various cultures. She attended school in Egypt and Kenya and reached fluency in five languages (Arabic, English, French, Italian, Somali). As she rose to adulthood, Iman
continued her globetrotting ways as a professional model on some of the most glamorous high-fashion runways in the world. During her 14 years as a high fashionIman
