Our two new favorite Artists (Christina and Russ from Utah) at Helix Elemental are having a Giveaway on their blog - click here. It’s the pair of Gorgeous Earrings pictured above! Here’s how Russ describes them: These bold contrasts seem to have a glow of their own when dichroic glass is added. These striking dangles start with opaque turquoise blue and tangerine glass. When pink/teal is layered over orange glass you get an amazing color
that can best be described as hot orange/pink. They are embellished with a white floral cluster with leafy vines climbing upward. These dangles were designed and crafted by Russ Colwell of Helix Elemental Studio. (2″ X 3/8″. 5CM X 1CM.

They are also having a Two for One Sale in their Etsy Store. GET THERE now and buy all kinds of stuff for Easter, Mother’s Day, Birthdays and Christmas. I did. Don’t tell my Husband! Click Here!
Russ and Christina have been previously featured on our site in our Valentine’s Giveaway (see the picture above). Here’s the link to the very sucessful giveaway!
Magnetic Organizers For The Home
Chief Blonde and Blogger Review: When I first heard about this little product, MagnaPods, I was so excited to review it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE organizers, so I had high hopes for these little babies! Well when the box of three MagnaPods arrived for my review I was not the least bit disppointed!
The package itself was not very big, but contained the three organizers shown above. MagnaPods were neatly packaged. I found the clear plasitic product was well made with powerful magnets in the back. Definitely not cheesy. This product would be great in any woman’s medicine cabinet who is challenged for space and just needs one more place to store cosmetic items. Something else that was neat was that the dividers in the MagnaPods could be moved within the unit to create storage pockets that are just the right size for your items! Also, no matter how many times, the medicine cabinet door was slammed or yanked open, these wonderful MagnaPods did not move NOR did the cosmetic items in them! Yippee! A product that really helps us Menopausal and Post-Menopausal stay organized–and remember where we put things–I don’t know about you but that alone would make me buy them! Tee Hee! $9.99 on Amazon and the MagaPod website!
What the Company has to say: A place for everything and everything in its place. That is the basic philosophy behind MagnaPods™, a line of high quality plastic storage units that are designed to store and organize cosmetics and personal care items. MagnaPods™ magnetically adhere to the inside of steel framed medicine cabinets and are the perfect solution to help organize cosmetics, make-up brushes, Q-tips, lip products, toothbrushes and more.
The majority of consumers today, particularly women, own a large quantity of beauty and grooming products and toiletries. More often than not, these items begin to overtake bathroom drawers and cabinets, creating a cluttered mess where nothing can be found.
MagnaPods™ Organizers come in a variety of shapes and sizes and are ideal for storing mascara, lipsticks, brushes, tweezers, and other personal care items. Available with adjustable divider walls, they are perfect for customizing to fit all spaces. Each of the Cosmetic Organizing Sets include 3 individual storage units. The MagnaPods™ Toothbrush Holders come in a variety of colors and fit all sized toothbrushes, including those with larger handles.
“For years, each and every morning I would open my medicine cabinet and be overrun by the amount of junk that would fall out on me,” said Robin Wilhelm, creator of MagnaPods™ “After a job layoff, I realized it was time to finally create a product that seems so simple, yet was sorely missing from my life. I wanted to create a solution that would remove some of the daily chaos from my home.”
MagnaPods™ Organizers are a necessary accessory for any bathroom that needs organization, perfect for apartment dwellers who do not have a lot of space and women who must have all the latest beauty tools.
MagnaPods™ are available online at www.magnapods.com.
Still Blonde after all these Years! is a blog for women over 45! All our topics, giveaways, pictures, and articles are focused on this segment. As we are a new blog, in a relatively uncharted blogging category “Women over 45″, we are constantly trying new concepts to appeal to our audience.
I am hoping to attend Blogher ’10 in NYC. I have never attended one of these conference before so I think it would be very exciting. How incredible would it be to learn how to improve the blog, monetize it, and make it more fun for my readers? I am only 4 1/2 months into my blog, but I believe if you look at the most CURRENT figures (I can provide those) the blog is at a Google rank of 2 or better–not too bad for just starting out right?
Moomette’s Magnificents is giving away a two-day pass to Blogher ’10 in NYC (worth $298) which I really hope to win. Here are links to her other giveaways: “product reviews and giveaways” and link to http://moomettesmagnificents.com/blog/review-info/ . Please visit her site, check out her giveaways and let her know that you think I should win!
Blog Note: The Chief Blonde did not receive compensation of any kind for this review. A product was sent for review purposes.
